This might seem really random with the terminology and I apologize. Yesterday I was put on watch for 1400-1800, will the guy that was suppose to relieve me at 1800 wasn't there, so after many phone calls and what not I just decided screw it I'll just stand his watch too. Which made my watch go from 1330-2230. Tired as hell I go back to my barracks and find out I've got another watch at 0545 in the moning. I was a little on the pissed side, but I did get to watch the sunrise over the ocean for the first time. Anyway after my watch I talked them into letting me sleep all day. Oh before that.... on my watch for some reason everything reminded me of my baby. Rather that be a song we heard together, or the same kind of fabric on the chairs that was on her couch. It was like one big day dream about her, that made it a lot better. So after I got back I called her and we talked for awhile, that always makes me feel better. After that it was an easy day. Alright will I don't know what this journal thing is actually used for so I just wrote down what came to mind. I think that's why they call it a journal.
